How do I get the main sales page with the icons!!!!?

I can't believe this!  I have an event and can't figure out how to call up the main screen with the icons.  I just want the screen where you touch the product, it goes in the "cart" and then you check out.  All I can get to is items and categories.  HELP!!!!  This should be super simple!

Are you using Square for Retail? Or Square Point of Sale? 

If you're using Square POS, there are a few buttons on the bottom of the screen that should be your item pages (with the button icons)... If you somehow ended up with Square for Retail (more of a black interface), it doesn't really have the same layout that you might be used to with Square POS.
