How can I view my monthly transaction fees from Square?

How do I find the monthly charge from each transaction that square automatically takes off?  I am looking for totals for each month.

Hey @Jewellerajgreen-

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community!

To view your transaction fees by month in a Sales Summary, please try the following steps:

  1. Login to your Square Dashboard, and select the Reports icon
  2. This will take you to a Sales Summary. Please select a time frame. If you select the whole year, you can view a monthly breakdown for the year:
  3. After selecting the time frame, please select Monthly under the Summary button:
  4. Then, when you scroll down, you'll be able to view a Sales Summary by month, with the fees shown:

I hope this is helpful! Let me know if you have any questions about this 💡

I would like to be able to see my fees from the Square but instead looking at the sale individually how do I see a monthly total. Would really good if this was really simple to fine?

The answer posted is back from 2020. This is 2023 and perhaps you have changed your reporting tools. I am new to Square and also need to know the fee per transaction Square has charged me in 2022. Thanks.

You can still see your fees by whatever time period you choose as in Olive's post and Mine.

If you want to see a fee per transaction you would go to your transactions tab https://squareup.com/dashboard/sales/transactions

you click transaction by transaction to see, but the fastest way would be to export the transactions CSV that you can then view in Excel or Apple Numbers.  Collumn "U" has the fees per transaction.

I am looking for the same thing. No one understands what we are asking! Very FRUSTRATING. I want to see the breakdown of what square is charging me every month to use SQUARE.
