How can I make every receipt be a choice for my customers. There are occasions when an automaticly emailed receipt is not desired. Eg. a gift is purchased on a shared credit card and the giver doesn't want the recipiant to see the charge for the gift.
Hey @Guitar1981 - Unfortunately, the only way to unlink a customer's contact information from their card is for them to go into a previous receipt, choose "Not Your Receipt?", and opt out of future digital receipts. From there, they'll be asked to enter new contact information the next time they visit a Square merchant. There isn't currently a way for you to have them opt out from your end. I do see how this could be useful though especially during the holiday season so I'll bring it up to our Product team to start tracking feedback for.

Thanks for the quick response to my concern. Let me know in the future if there can be a way to add the email receipt choice to the list of choices at the end of any transaction. The customers email would of course remain in that field but would now be either selected or another selection could be made.
