How can I create an event that is free but appears on my events page

Is there a way to create a free event item within my events page?

Hey! Thanks for reaching out! This is a huge feature request for our online store at the moment, but we do not have a way to issue tickets or items without a cost. However; if you set up your new online store with Weebly then you should be able to use this feature as long as the item’s visibility is set to visible.

We REALLY need this feature. So many other online marketplaces offer much more advanced calendar solutions than Square and it's becoming an issue for our business as we do many in-store events that are free but also need to be listed on our website!

Is there any update on this feature? We only offer free community events and would like to have a simple calendar of events with event details to add to our website. Anyone have a workaround if not?

Hi @jes23 - Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Square Seller Community👋

We do not have a direct feature for this yet. As a workaround, our settings can allow you to create a $0.00 Event Item. Then, you can add that item to a Featured Item section. For example, you can create a $0.00 Test item and mark it as hidden so it will only show up in the Featured Item section.

I hope this information is helpful but please do let me know if you have any additional questions.
