How can I add a note that the customer can't see that is just for my records? I have to outsource orders from my small shop and I want to keep it on their invoice/digital footprint as well as my paper files.
Is there a section in the customer/contact I can do so without the customer seeing it?

Adding a note to a customer's profile is easy. Query up the customer (or add a new customer), scroll down until you see a section called Notes, click Add Note, type in your note, and hit Save. Notes are not visible to the customer. You can also add a note by clicking the ellipsis next to their name, and selecting Add Note.
