Hide Items On Receipt

Is it possible to hide an item on a receipt? We add some "items" that are really just instructions for the staff. In some instances, we are using the notes of an "item" to input additional email addresses on a large order. It hasn't been an issue yet, but I could see where this could be a problem if we're selling to a group that doesn't want to share their email addresses with each other. 

I know you can hide modifiers, but modifiers don't allow you type anything in, such as an email.

 Unfortunately, you wouldn't be able hide the items on your receipt. This can be passed over to our Product Team as a Feature Request.
