does the app backup your appointments anywhere in case of a crash?

Not sure. But I have never had an issues with my appointments & am always able to acess them through the app

I really like being able to click on my clients name and it shows me all previous appointments with dates times services & how much I charged.

Assuming you have active internet connection- all Appointments information is synced to our servers instantly. 

The information should be safe if anything happens to your device as long as you were able to connect to the internet or network after using the app last.
