Does Square support cardless/manual payments?

We are looking into purchasing SQUARE for our small business, I would like to know if all of the Square readers support the cardless/manual entry of card details option? 

We are tossing up between the Square contactless and chip reader, and the Square Card reader....have googled this but cant find a straight answer.  Any feedback appreciated!

what reader you have does not affect whether or not you can type in a card number, you can always type a number in.  I would recommend the Square Contactless chip reader.
