I would like to deactivate my current account and create a new one using the same EIN since I have multiple changes I need to make (business & personal name changes, email changes, invoice changes, etc.). Am I able to deactivate my current account and create a new one using the same EIN?

Yes, if you'd like a complete separation between accounts, you can deactivate your current account and set up a new one. I also wanted to mention that you can keep your original account open and simply update your EIN, business name information, and login information as necessary from your online Square Dashboard > Account & Settings. This would allow you to have access to previous reports and sales information, if needed.
