Can I use the Loyalty Program if I don't use Square as my POS?

I use Square to process credit card payments only at my restaurant. We use another POS system. Can I utilize the loyalty program through Square or is that strictly for people that use it as the POS so that they can link specific items to the loyalty discount? Thanks!

The loyalty program wouldn't work if you are not using the POS.  the loyalty is tied to the customer purchasing set ammounts or specfic items.
