Can I use a 3800 Honeywell scanner with my square stand?

I am trying to connect a scanner to my square stand but it tells me the device is not compatible? I don’t understand why or if I’m doing something wrong?

Hey @Aromacity115, the Square Stand supports a few Honeywell USB barcode scanners. Although the one you mentioned isn't included in the list. 

You can find the complete list under Recommended Hardware for Square Stand. 

Currently we support: 

• Honeywell 1300G
• Honeywell Xenon 1900
• Honeywell Voyager 1200G
• Honeywell Voyager 1250G
• Symbol LS2208
• Symbol DS6707
