Hey @JJexpress, I'm a little unclear on exactly what you are looking for. Are you looking to change the name on your Square Account or remove all other information from your account and only have your Square reflect your name?

@JJexpress - This would be a great feature, but we're not able to accommodate changes to the details used during activation. Currently the way things are set up, what's used to activate a Square account (inluding name and SSN) are permanently tied to that account. Here are some more details.

I'm the same person that started the account I just want my name to match by bank account name. Thanks

@JJexpress - I hear you!  😕  This would be a great option to offer sellers, espeically in the case when folks sell their businesses or change their names.

If you go to https://squareup.com/dashboard/account it appears you can change the name on your account under Basic Information. Would that solve your problem? You can also change your business name as it appears on your receipts by going to https://squareup.com/dashboard/business/receipt  You can change the tax information by editing Taxpayer Information here: https://squareup.com/dashboard/business/taxes

@VanKalkerFarms - I'm so glad that you pointed this out! You can definitely update your name under the "Basic Information" settings. While this won't change the information that was collected during activation, it will update details tied to email notifications that we send you.
