Can I log into the same account on multiple devices?
The title of this thread has been edited from the original:
Am I able to use one email on 2 different devices. Say a phone and a tablet? I know I can use one account on 2 devices...I am just confused how that works.

You absolutely can be logged into the same Square account on multiple devices simultaneously. Square's system identifies accounts by email, so as long as you sign into both your phone and tablet with the same email, all payments will be sent to the same account.

Hi there Community and Justin.
So how can I make this work for my Mobile Groomers? If they use my login on their device, can't they access all of the other features... Not just the POS?
I wouldn't want an employee getting into Capital or Payroll. Just the POS screen. Guidance Please.

You'll need to create a separate but shared email/pw login for their devices using Team Permissions - an employee mgt tool that allows you to set parameters for what employees can see and do.

Our non-profit wants to sell items at a street market using Square. Our treasurer linked Square to our bank account via her smartphone but cannot attend all events. Can other board members link their smartphones to our original Square account, or must we register a sepaarate account for each user?

Hi,
The cafe I work at currently has one iPad with a printer connected to it. Due to COVID we have only been able to take calls for take out orders. Next week we will be opening for seating. We would like to connect a second iPad with a printer attached to it so one is dedicated for walk-ins and the other one is dedicated for call ins.
Is it possible to have two iPads and printers on the same system?
Will all the menu items be available on both since it's the same WiFi?
If I save a ticket (to take payment when the customer comes in), will the saved ticked show up on both iPads or just on the one where the order was taken?

Will all the menu items be available on both since it's the same WiFi? Yes, your menu items are saved in our servers, so as along as you sign into the same account, your items will appear on the second device.
If I save a ticket (to take payment when the customer comes in), will the saved ticked show up on both iPads or just on the one where the order was taken? On both, but make sure Open Tickets is enabled on both devices so you can access them.
