Can I include a link on my paper invoices that I mail out for my patients to use to pay balances?

I work in a doctor's office, and we are using Square to collect payments. Is there a way to create a general link, something I can print on all invoices that I mail out, that patient's can use to pay with a credit card via the Square portal?

I use a competing merchant service that is quite buggy but offers a payment portal at a very competitive price. All the patients have to do is open the link, put in a name, payment amount, and their card details. There are 100's of statements going out each month, so I would not be able to change the link for each statement. I just want to create a general portal that any patient can use to pay us.

A general portal link, unfortunately no. I see how that would be beneficial for your business though!

That may be something that a third-party provider can offer though. Check out the Apps section of your Dashboard to see if any other company can interlink with your Square account and provide that service.

As of 2021 you can easily send a QR code for your payment portal.  The client just focuses their phone on the QR code and they are directed to your square account to make a payment.  Only problem we have is that Square doesn't seem to have the development aptitude to include the ability to add a surcharge / convenience fee / or tax at the payment portal.  We don't have tax but we do add 3% to cover the cost of using square.  It's still helpful.

heyy, yes of course you can create a checkout link from your square dashboard under online checkout. yu can share the link with your patients😊
