Calendar on individual items for pick up

Hey everyone….. okay… so I have been trying to find a way to put my idea in my head in to a website for about a year now. 

I own a bakery and I want to post a Monthly specialty menu and offer it 4 days of the month for presale/pick up. I want to be able to put either a calendar with blockout days on each item OR have a calendar at checkout for the month with block out dates so they can select which date they would like to pick up.

right now I have it as a drop down menu on each individual item but the menu tends to sell out quickly and people are complaining about the time it takes to drop down each item for the pick up date.

Thank you! I took a look at the article you sent as well as the photos you sent. In your photos you have it selected for a specific date range… January 3 through the seventh. How does that show up on the customers end? Will it show up as a calendar? I’m going to be offering these items three separate days of the month… So one probably towards the beginning, one in the middle, and one towards the end I just want it to be easy on the customers end so that they know exactly what day they are picking up. Also, once I have this figured out and they are able to pick a specific time. Will their receipt reflect the exact time that they picked so that is nice and organize?

Have you started setting up your time-based categories yet? Your customers would be able to see the categories listed on your site, not a calendar. So you could create multiple categories for each of your available dates throughout the month and name them accordingly. Please let us know how you go!

I haven’t tried this yet. Do you know of an example on someone’s website that shows what it would look like in the customers end in the listing and check out? Appreciate it.
