Is there any way to accept payments in advance for a service without using gift cards?
During this time of the corona virus crisis, I want to offer my clients an opportunity to purchase sessions ahead of time OR just to credit their account before they come in for a visit. In other words, is there any way for me to accept payment before the service is rendered without using gift cards, which delay payment until the service is performed?

Another option you have could be to use Invoicing to keep track of the orders that are coming in.
Other than that - there isn't another option to have purchases ahead of time. I would be happy to tag this for our Product Team, so they can get eyes on it.

SCRATCH THIS THREAD. LOL. I just got an answer by phone:
Gift card transactions are treated like regular purchases and funds are deposited to the seller's account in the same way on on-site purchase would be.
