Automatic Discount when paying with credit card?

We use square for a small weekend coffee shop at our church. We only have $75-$200 in profit a week from the shop that goes into the church, so the $40/mo loyalty subscription is way out of line. We wanted to offer a program to apply an auto discount of 10% when they checkout with gift cards instead of manually inputting that. 

Anyone know how you can set up payment based discount?

Hi @ReCoffee! We do offer the option to set up Automatic Discounts, but that's only used if customers are purchasing certain items and typically during certain time frames.

If you're wanting to have a discount kick on automatically when a customer runs a gift card through the POS system, that's not something we offer. In that situation, you'd want to create a regular discount and manually apply it to a transaction if you know that a customer will be paying with a gift card.
