Am i able to use the square card instantly after a transaction?

I charged a card for a transaction but i still dont see it on my available balance. it's been an hour. I do see it under pending. Why the delay? i thought it was instant

It should show up instantly in your available balance.  If it's not, and showing as pending, you will need to contact Square's support team:

 

You'll need your customer code to call.  Follow the instructions below on how to get it.

Go to Square's support page.

Click “More”

Click "I don't see my issue"

Click "Call Support"

Write down your Customer Code

Call 1  855  700  6000
