Accidentally removed categories from main page and now are under items. Can they be restored?

I had set up special categories on the front page of the online store. Somehow CATAGORIES was deleted from that page and put on the items page. Is there a way to restore this without setting up again?

It sounds like you are talking about your Shop All page, @babesofmudaf. In the website editor, click on the Pages dropdown and then click on Shop All. Is that the page you are looking for? If so, you can add that to navigation by clicking the "edit navigation" link on the bottom of the sidebar when viewing the list of pages, then using the Add navigation link option.

Welcome to the Community. 

 

Go to the Edit Website button on your Online Store. At the top of the page, you will see a drop down menu with different sections or pages. That's where you can add your categories again. 

 

Where on the main page did you have your Categories before?

In "Add", "Categories" is greyed out, can't be clicked. We want to restore our categories. Possible?

You should be able to click on the blue "Add Category" button on your Online Square Dashboard under > Items > Site Categories.

 

Our website sometimes encounters errors when trying to connect to your browser. Here are a few troubleshooting tips you can try:

  • Make sure your browser is up to date.
  • Clear the cache on your browser. Access the Help menu of your browser to locate step-by-step instructions.
  • Switch to a supported browser, such as Google Chrome.

My category page is greyed out too. And that removed all the categories where they can not be linked to a page.
