Square Staff features are now fully available in the Dashboard app, making it easier to manage your team on-the-go! Sellers can add and manage team members and those using Square Shifts to view and edit schedules & timecards, approve time off requests/availability, and create and publish shifts can do so seamlessly on the Dashboard app. Team Communication features including team chats, announcements, and file-sharing can now also be done without logging into a desktop browser. Get real-time sales and labor reporting in order to make informed decisions on the fly, onboard new hires, and run Square Payroll in one single app.
Owners, operators, and managers are encouraged to download the Dashboard app, while team members can continue to use the Square Team app to interact with Square platform. Individual team access to these apps are managed by the team member’s permissions setup on Dashboard web. Depending on your subscriptions, sellers can expect to see the Team Chats and Staff tabs once the Dashboard app is downloaded and be able to manage the following Staff tasks on the app:
- Schedule
- Timecards
- Files
- Payroll
- Team
