Search and sell faster with a connected keyboard on Square POS

Quickly find items, enter amounts, and add products to the cart with a USB or bluetooth keyboard. With keyboard shortcuts on iOS, you can now navigate your POS, key in prices and quantities, and search your catalog or customers without touching the screen.

Update your iPad or iPhone to 6.79 or higher and then if you haven’t already, connect a keyboard through Bluetooth or plug a USB keyboard directly into your iPad or iPhone. (USB keyboards connected through Stand are not supported.)

Once you’re updated to the latest version and your keyboard is connected, here are some shortcuts to try:

⌘F - Search items, customers, orders, and more

⌘S - Save cart

⌘1-⌘5 - Navigate the POS sections (Checkout, Inventory, etc)

You can now type in prices and quantities using the numbers on your keyboard, and press ‘return’ to confirm.
