An important change to the Square for Franchises Online and Mobile Ordering is coming. To deliver a more reliable and effective experience for your customers, we are upgrading to a new online and mobile ordering experience and are excited to announce our partnership with Per Diem. Per Diem is a Square-preferred partner that specializes in branded mobile ordering. As part of this transition, we’ll be deprecating the Go Parrot Online and Mobile App before March 31, 2026.
Per Diem’s online and mobile ordering solutions help restaurants increase sales, boost loyalty, and turn visitors into regulars. We’ve worked closely with Per Diem’s team to ensure a smooth transition, including training, onboarding support, and special discount for Square sellers. Our teams will remain engaged to ensure this solution works seamlessly with our core offerings.
What this means for you
- Your current Go Parrot online ordering and mobile app will no longer accept orders
- We’re offering free onboarding and training so you can be up and running quickly
Many of our customers are successfully using Per Diem as their Online ordering and Mobile App platform in conjunction with Square and are seeing great results.
What you need to do
- If you are using Square for Franchise Online or Mobile Ordering solutions, reach out to your account manager, or contact support from your Square dashboard, with any questions and preferred migration timing
- We’ll schedule a short onboarding call and create your online and mobile ordering experiences with Per Diem
- Update customer-facing links: replace any website/social/QR code links that point to existing online and mobile ordering sites with your new online or mobile ordering link
