We’ve recently added a new Goods and Services Confirmation feature setting in Square Invoices. With this setting enabled, buyers will be required to check a box confirming they received and accepted the goods and/or services on an order. This is designed to help provide sellers with an extra level of support that can be used as backup documentation in the event of a payment dispute from the buyer.
Here’s how you can enable this feature:
- Desktop - When creating a new invoice, scroll down to the ‘More Options” section and check the toggle for “Goods and services confirmation”
- Mobile - In the Square Invoices app, the “Goods and services confirmation” will appear in the Details section when creating an invoice
- Templates - the "Goods and services confirmation" can be added to an invoices template for any future invoices created using your template


With the goods and services confirmation enabled, sellers will see a new section prompting them to confirm they received the goods and/or services before making a payment.
