🆕 Combo items for F&B are now available

Combos are now available as a new item type for Square Plus and RST Plus allowing you to create item bundles at a discounted rate. With Combos, you can support common use cases such as:

• A meal with main, side, and a drink
• A “build your own” box of different cookies, bagels, or donuts
• A prix-fixe menu

They are flexible and can be created in a way that unlocks a wide range of scenarios. 

This functionality streamlines the full power of items and their capabilities (inventory, modifiers, etc.) during the checkout process so you can offer your customers greater value and more flexibility in the way they order. Offering combos is also a great way to highlight specific menu items and optimize your menu overall.

Combos are created in the Item Library on Dashboard and can be sold on POS in F&B modes as well as Square Online and downstream fulfillment products such as KDS and printed tickets. Order ahead integration support, Kiosk, and additional Combo reporting capabilities are coming soon. 

In order to create Combo items, you also need your POS devices opted in to Order & Pay functionality via Release Manager. You’ll find more information on this in the Support Material here.

I’m attempting to setup Combos in my dashboard however, I’m not seeing it as an option in the drop down menu. Help. @Hadley

Thanks for tagging me in @MAXSDELI! From what I can find, this should definitely be available for you and @YM33. To help us troubleshoot this, can you confirm:

• When you go to your Square Dashboard > Items Library > Create Item, Combo does not come up as an option in the drop-down or anywhere on this page, is that correct? 
• There's an active Square Plus/Premium subscription or a paid Square for Restaurants subscription
• The browser you're using (if you're unsure, you can use https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/ to check)

That's correct, options for me are in the picture. "Other" is the last one on the list.

I have a valid Plus plan and my browser is Chrome 150.

Just want to say @YM33 & @MAXSDELI, you both should be able to create Combo from Square Dashboard > Item Library > Create Item now.

If you are still not seeing this option, let me know and I can definitely ask the team to look into this again!
