Scan to verify online orders

I do quite a large percentage of my sales as online orders for pick up or delivery. Sometimes item's are missed when selecting and bagging them up for the customer. As I use a barcode scanner for my system for sales I would love a way to scan to verify items in an order.

I imagine it would work something like this:
Order notification on screen

mark order "in progress""

scan items to "prepare order"

change status to "Order is ready"

"item X was not scanned for # Units"
"Confirm items for order?" with Yes or No dialogue prompts

Can't find where i asked for this, but i'm sure i did! This would be a great feature for online ordering to eliminate refund, error et multiple shipping cost. This would ensure a stronger reliability of our service and increase the confidence people got on our online store to make them buy more often.
