payments remaining on tables after payments processed after bills were split

We are having a serious issue with bills staying on the tables on our Square register after the payments have been processed. It seems to be mainly when bills are split. The payments are processed and then the bill is showing as unpaid on that table. It is not even just when the bills are paid by card, the issue is also arising when paid by cash. 

Has anyone had this issue? 

I have raised it with Square since 16th Jan and still haven't got it resolved.

Hi Katie

Yeah it's just very frustrating it's going on since 16th January and I'm not getting much headway to be honest. I waited for almost 5 days to then be told that my reply to their thread hadn't been picked up and then I had to send it all again. It's causing a lot of havoc in our shop.
