We are using multiple tablets for POS. Some are requiring the 4 digit passcode for each employee - this is what we need; some are not. How do we enable those that are not currently requiring a passcode each time a transaction is done to require one? This is imperative for security and tracking of sales in our stores.

If you are using square restaurant (not sure about others) you can set device settings from the dashboard -> Devices.
If you are using standard, the settings are on each device, so you have to set them each up.
The settings you want for individual accountability are:
Settings -> Security
Passcodes ✅
Team passcode unchecked (no nice emoji for that)
Require passcode section:
After each sale ✅
After logout ✅
And I would set a timeout, but not required.
I do not have this option in my device settings for square for restaurants. I want to have a POS that anyone can login to with a shared passcode
