how do I make sure my own bank is registered with Square for sales to by to my bank and n

how can I make sure my sales go right into My own Banking company and not to Squares?

Hi @Cathie_H.. I assume that you have not yet set up a Square Checking account.  If that is the case, then all of your card sales proceeds (less fees, etc) will be collected in your Square Balances account each day.  Then, early the next morning, the balance will be automatically sent to your linked bank account -- which I assume is your local bricks-and-mortar bank account.  You don't have to do much of anything to make this happen.  Just link your checking account, here are the basic steps:

 

  1. Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Banking > Checking.
  2. Click the cogwheel icon and select Transfer settings.
  3. Click Create a recurring transfer.
  4. Enter the amount and choose transfer frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly).
  5. For weekly/monthly, select the start date.
  6. Review details and click Schedule recurring transfer.

You can edit or pause recurring transfers anytime from the same Transfer settings.
