Why is the staff member showing as owner on invoice

Macy is a team member sales associate with the same level as everyone else. She is not classified as owner. i have an invoice where a certain team member was the one doing the sale and her name appears as the cashier but under the items it also says owner: Macy Riggins

Like @TheRealChipA has said, a screenshot will be helpful here. However, I am going to provide some insight/things to check. Please note my questions at the bottom if these quick fix options don't help!

 

First, Let's Check Settings
  1. Team Member Permissions

    1. Dashboard
    2. →Team
    3. Team Members
    4. Find Macy's profile
      1. Verify role assignment
      2. Check permission levels
      3. Ensure "Owner" isn't selected
Common Causes
  1. Permission Inheritance

    • Previous role settings carrying over
    • Location-specific permissions
    • Unintended access levels
  2. Quick Fixes

    • Remove team member
    • Re-add with correct permissions
    • Clear cache/refresh settings
Questions to Help Troubleshoot
  1. When did this start appearing?
  2. Is it happening on all invoices or just some?
  3. Has Macy's role ever been different?
  4. Are you using multiple locations?

Hi there @SOAPDESJOURBOUT.  Can you edit your team member in your online dashboard, then take a screen shot?  Please blur out personal information such as full name, phone number, etc before posting, though.
