Why aren't my photos being saved when I add an image to an item?

Every time I go to add a photo to an item, square says it "saves", but then I go to check and the photo disappears. What's happening?

Are you updating images from the dashboard on a computer or the app?

 

If computer, chances are the image saved and your browser's cache isn't reloading the page correctly. Take a look at the item while on the app and see if the picture shows there.

 

If the app, try force closing the app and restarting it. Sometimes the app doesn't fully sync up well if you're doing a lot of data manipulation. (images, items, etc)

I put in images for items and they don't show up on invoices. I also agreed to a 30 day trial to use a new invoice template but it doesn't work. I add a service charge for invoices but can't add one to manual checkout. This app is soooooo confusing.

I am sorry personally sorry for the experience you are having. At this time Item images appear on Square Online and Square Point of Sale. Images on Square Invoices are considered a Feature Request. Now in regards to your Invoices Plus Trial, They can be reached at 855-700-6000 between 6 am - 6 pm Pacific Time Monday-Friday. If you call outside of these hours, you will be required to enter your Customer Code to validate your account.
