When square sends over my daily sales, it never separates the taxes and the fees, also a square loan payment. I have spoke to both Square and QuickBooks and they say it is each other that need to figure this out. Extremely frustrating to do it manually each day. Any one else have this situation in could lend a hand?
@Nickiev ;
From being both a Square and a Quickbooks user in the past what I have found out is:
What I have done was exported Squares Transactions and also Squres Loan Payments to enter them in QuickBooks by csv. This required a 3rd party which enters not only the Item, Taxes and Loan Payments but can also enter other types of transactions from csv files to Quickbooks. With this method I could choose if Square Calculated Taxes or Quickbooks. To match Square to Quickbooks I used Square's tax numbers.
Other wise your back at Manual entry for Taxes and Loan payments or finding a different integration. Since QuickBooks went mainly online now the Integration I use has a monthly fee to link to Quickbooks Online, and had a 1 time purchase for the Desktop version.
Here is a Link to more about Transaction Pro, the third party I use.
