What does it mean when square says “this device only”?

What does it mean when square says “this device only.” Im assuming it means its showing a report of sales from each individual phone. But my team is worried that it’s actually referring to each individual reader. We’re wanting to make sure we isolate tips according to sales rung in on individual’s phones.
