The verify my identity page is broken. Whenever I click the link to the page, it attempts to load something for a few seconds and then jumps to a rejection page. I'm never given the opportunity to enter any information to verify my identity.
To make matters worse, whenever I email support, I get a canned response that just gives me a link to the verify my identity page that does not work.
This has been going on for weeks.

Are you trying to create your account on a home computer? Square will allow you to try and sign up a total of 4 times. Take a look here at additional details regarding signing up with Square.
If you are denied, there is nothing we can do, this is not a manual process we can approve or deny.

Yes, I am using a home computer.
I have never been given 4 attempts. When I sign up, I give all of the correct information — except for the EIN, which Square always claims cannot be found even though it's legit. When I click the verify my identity page, I am immediately denied with out having the opportunity to give any information or any additional attempts.
What am I missing here?

If you’ve been declined once, head to squareup.com/activation, sign in, read the instructions and click Try Again.
...and click that link, I am never allowed to try again. It immediately goes to the denied page.
I see! When you sign up for Square you have to provide a social security number for the system to approve you. After you have been approved, you can go back and add your EIN. I would also try applying in an incognito browser with another email if possible.
