Two locations and one kitchen printer

Hello, in my setup, I have two websites & two locations. Both locations are served from a single kitchen. When I added a second website and location, it did not allow me to add those to the same kitchen printer.

How do I configure the device to access orders (and prints) from both locations?

@Yogi123 If you have a second POS device, you could connect both devices to the same printer over the network.

What is the purpose of having the 2 websites and 2 locations?

I'm wondering if it would be feasible for you to have 2 different websites with 1 location.

We have a single kitchen, but have two different product lines. We want to have different hours for both businesses. Hence I created two different locations. Also we need to have separate Email, Website, Logo etc and you cannot achieve that with one location.

I see. In that case, I would recommend getting another POS device. It doesn't need to be fancy, just any device that will run the Square POS app. Then you could connect both devices to the same printer, assuming it's a network printer and not USB.

@Yogi123 ;

I agree with @AppaloosaTech , Have another POS app type device.  For example you could use an old tablet or cell phone with the APP and as long as the 1 Printer is a Network Printer you should be able to print to it from either "pos".  The 'POS' would just need to be the app installed on a tablet or cell phone that is connected by WiF to the same network that has Internet connection.  You would not even need an active cell plan for the phone or tablet if you just connect through the internet on the wifi.
