Personal POS Required??

Hello, 

 

My square account is suddenly requiring a passcode to do certain things. How can I remove this from myself and my team?

If your POS requires a passcode to access certain functions, the account owner set up these functions to require a passcode.

For anyone still struggling with this. When I went to More > Settings > Security in my app, I had passcode toggled off but was still having trouble. Because I kept seeing the same unhelpful information so I finally called. What I had to do, was on my dashboard, go to Staff & Payroll > Team > Permissions (menu on the left) > Edit permissions (for whichever permission set needed) > Click the blue continue button in the top right > uncheck the box by "Shared Points of Sale". 

 

I could not find this information anywhere so I hope someone finds this helpful. Also, it looks like my previous message was deleted which is very Big Brother-y of Square and hopefully this doesn't get deleted.
