I know I am not the only one experiencing this problem and would love a straight answer that is relevant to the actual problem.
I have connected by Square account to WooCommerce on my WordPress website. However, Stripe is the bank that connects us through Stripe Express. And Stripe is requiring that I have proof that the Square account is actually mine. They require an actual statement from Square, like regular banks provide their customers every month. It has to have my full name and the account number on the document. Why can I NOT find this anywhere in my Square dashboard? If I call customer support am I just going to be angry and frustrated about wasting my time on hold when they tell me they do not provide such a document?
Wordpress has tens of millions of ecommerce sites using WooCommerce and possibly Square. I can't be the only one. Will someone knowledgable about this particular integration give me a solid answer?
There is no "account statement". The best thing that I can think of that has your name and an account number (IDK if it is you actual account number but on all 3 of my locations it is different) is your 1099k available here.
I'm wondering why stripe would be involved at all as Square is a direct payment gateway available in the payments extension of the plugin.
I finally figured out the problem. I had stripe for woocommerce enabled because I also had a multivendor marketplace plugin installed. Stripe was overriding Square until I deactivated it. This is the learning curve of having too many things on one Wordpress site.
