Square in-store purchases not syncing with weebly online store.

Hello, 

I updated my square account through Weebly about a month ago when our shop was closed down.  We are now offering in store and online sales.  When I have an in person sale, it's not reflecting on the Weebly website which creates a problem with overselling.  Can anyone help me out with this?

How long has this been going on? Or since the beginning have you never seen a correlation between your Weebly site and in person sales?

Hi there, @thefarmstand 👋 I can step in for Alex on this one in his absence. So sorry to hear that this issue has persisted for you.

 

Specifically, are you seeing your inventory and stock numbers not adjusting once you sell a product in person? If so, it definitely sounds like something may be off here. Would you mind flagging this over to our Support Team directly? We will need to jump into your account settings specifically in a way we're not able to do here on the Community.

Having a very similar issue. In store sales will debit the online inventory, however will often over sell because there is no low inventory or sold out alert. Selling an item in store while it being sold out online has happened too often and has been a real problem.

Thank you for your post. 

 

There are some alerts or banners you can turn on in your Online Store when you have little to no inventory on a certain item. 

 

If you go to Online > Settings > Item Settings - there you can turn on a "low inventory indicator" and "out of stock indicator".
