Australian Taxation Office advised that Australia and New Zealand are preparing for teh e-Invoicing platform that will link to the US/EU and global plans for e-Invoicing global platform.
Square doesn't uave any articles about its development palns and preoaraprep of the new Square Invoice app for this e-Invoicing system.
I want to know what are the plans.
I also would like the Square Invoice and POS apps to support the 2 way e-Invoicing platform. It should interoperate across all accounting apps and be compatible with teb global standards as well. It should also be able to receive the live e-invoice (not as email, txt or pdf - but as a live e-invoice as per the global plans for this system).

Hi @Cyberkite,
Thanks for getting in touch.
Square currently offers and will continue to offer a first-rate e-invoicing platform via Square Invoices, that can already be used to conduct local and international transactions. I believe this government initiative is designed to get more merchants and payment providers on-board with similar invoicing systems to our own!
At the moment we don't have anything to announce about new integrations with 3rd party e-invoicing platforms, though I'll certainly pass your feedback on to our Product Team so they're aware of the demand here.
As for accounting apps, Square's APIs are currently publically available so that any accounting app that wants to integrate Square support for payments or tracking transactions is able to do so. We'd love to be available on as many different platforms as possible! Ultimately it's up to the 3rd party to decide whether they'd like to integrate Square support into their product - you can view some of the ones that already do this here.
Thanks again for the feedback and please let me know if you have any questions 🙂
