How do one include the customer's name on the receipt?

If you'd like a customer's name to appear on an electronic receipt you'll need to add a note via the Point of Sale app.
If you'd like to manage a customer database and tie a customer's details to a transaction for historical reporting purposes you can use the customer directory. Note that tying a customer to a sale won't automatically add their name or any person info to the receipt - you'll still need to add a note to display this info.
So the solution is that the user would have to move away from Appointments and finalise the transaction in POS instead?
Apologies @dosolutions, that should have said the "Appointments App", not POS App - the feature and checkout process works the same on both apps though.
If you search for "Square Appointments" via the Apple or Google app stores you can find our appointments app. The only scenario this wouldn't work is if the customer booked online and had to pay the entire amount in full at the time of booking.
