I am wondering if it is possible to hold an appointment time slot for a customer and then they have to complete the booking online?
My current issue is trying to get clients to book online when they call or email so they are required to enter credit card details to protect me from no shows.
Any solutions or ideas would be awesome thanks.

At the moment it's not possible to hold a timeslot, other than the slot being held for 15 minutes when a customer selects an appointment time on your website and completes the booking.
My best suggestion for over-the-phone and email requests would be to add the appointment yourself via the Appointments App or the Appointments calendar on your online Dashboard. That way you can enter a booking while on the phone or once you receive an email from a customer.
The other suggestion I have, if you're not already doing so, is to promote your online booking website as much as possible to help increase awareness of it among your customers!
I'm very new to this and used to a paper diary! I don't know if it will work for you but I sometimes offer a couple of times to clients to come in and have to wait for them to opt for one or the other so to cover this I am putting in a personal event with the title Hold for Fido or whoever!? once they book I free up the other space or both if they opt for some other time.
