I have a few manual groups: groupA, groupB, groupC.
I'd like to apply a percentage discount to each of these groups, but I have certain inventory items that CANNOT be discounted. So, if userA is in groupA, I'd like the discount to be applied automatically only to those products ELIGIBLE for a discount.
I'm happy to create a group for products (like "groupY"), but how to I setup a discount to be in customer groupA not in product groupY?
@postwait Welcome to the community. Square will allow you to make a discount for an item/category or a customer group. The only problem is you can’t combine the customer group and item/category together. I think that is what you want to do, you want customer group A to get a discount on certain items. When you setup a discount you have to choose between item/category or customer group.
Hopefully someone else in the community has figured out a work around for this and they will reply.
