Setting up a Free Trial on a Subscription Plan

When I'm reviewing a customers subscription under Orders & Payments > Subscriptions I see that these is an option for Trial Period. However, when I attempt to edit the Plan/subscription I don't see an option for Trial.

I have tried setting a discount of 100% but the system doesn't allow me to send an invoice for $0. Is there a way to do this or is this not a feature that is available yet?

Hello @Cole_Haildash and thank you for your post. My name is Violet and I'm one of the Square Community Moderators.

I checked in with the product team for Item Subscriptions on this one. They let me know that the "trial period" field was part of an old workflow for Subscriptions. Ideally, the new flow will eventually have a free trial functionality in the future, but we don't have an ETA on when this may become available.
