Restrict Device to only Two Items

We have two tablets with Square POS installed, and want to restrict what items default on these devices.  I created a device profile and assigned it, but I can't figure out how to choose only certain items on this profile.

Hey @AWMIHQ.  You can configure the item grids on each POS to only have tiles for the items you want to sell.  But you can’t restrict the ability of team members to search for other items, or to scroll through the full item list, etc.  As far as I am aware, there is no such functionality in Square POS right now.  Device profiles don’t have this restriction capability that you seek.

 

That being said, can you please elaborate on your business, why you want to do this, what you hope to gain or prevent by this, etc?  That would go a long way to helping us possible brainstorm a work-around or two for you.
