Can i use my debit card or do i have to use the square debit and how would it get to my bank without

Hey @9525.  I’m not sure exactly what your question means, but I’ll guess and hope I’m right.

 

A Square Debit card is tied to your Square Checking account, after you set that up.  If you keep money in your Square Checking, then you can use your Square Debit Card to pay for things and the money is taken from that account.

 

If you use a debit card tied to another bank account, and you don’t need Square Checking, then you can just have your sales transferred to your brick-and-mortar bank account and use that debit card as you always have.  No Square Checking or debit card needed.  As long as you don’t have a Square Checking account, your sales are transferred daily to your bank account and are usually available in 1-2 business days.  If you DO have a Square Checking account, then transfers must be done manually to your bank as automatic transfers are disabled.
