Removing 3% from tip out amount for cc tip?

Good morning Team, is there a way to AUTOMATICALLY remove 3% from the servers credit cards tip out on closeout report? This is a fee that I’m not happy to absorb.  Servers get that big wad of cash and write off into the sunset and I’m standing here holding the bill for the convenience.  Ty,

@Fiveoclock that feature does not yet exist in Square.  In some states it is not even legal to do that, so Square is going to have to work on a solution that addresses all of the possibilities.  You can submit a feature request here. But for the foreseeable future, you will have to do that manually when you run payroll.  Or use a third-party tip-out solution from the Square App Marketplace.

As TheRealChipA said it isn't a feature of Square and is a complicated thing so I wouldn't expect it to be rolled out soon or even if it will.  As with all things on the internet, do your own research, but it does appear you can deduct it depending on the state you are in as long as it is exactly what you pay or less, but can't be 3% say if you are paying 2.75%.  I would look more into it in your state, and then if legal, I would set up a way to pay them that allows that if you are trying to recoup that cost.
