The recent Square update to the Sales Summary is extremely frustrating and a step backwards. Gross Sales, including GST, should remain the primary figure displayed, not GST-exclusive sales.
Australian businesses manage and pay their own GST through their BAS, not Square.
We need to see our actual daily takings at a glance, and this change makes accurate and efficient record keeping unnecessarily difficult.
Please restore the previous reporting format or allow businesses to choose how their sales are displayed.
