I have to pair my phone with my reader every day, is that normal?
Short answer is no @Alan165 !
Can you share what phone you're using.
It's worth double checking you phone/app/reader are all up-to-date to make sure there isn't software causing a problem anywhere.
If the reader has been paired to more than one device then it might be reconnecting to that other device if it's in range (although I would expect it to connect to the last used really?).
