Reader connection issue

I have to pair my phone with my reader every day, is that normal?

Short answer is no @Alan165 !

Can you share what phone you're using. 

It's worth double checking you phone/app/reader are all up-to-date to make sure there isn't software causing a problem anywhere. 

If the reader has been paired to more than one device then it might be reconnecting to that other device if it's in range (although I would expect it to connect to the last used really?).

Hi @Alan165, I just want to check in and see if you were able to follow the steps @Sam_400º outlined above? 

 

It sounds like it might be a connection issue, so it'll be worth trying to run through the troubleshooting steps outlined here. These usually help with any underlying connection issue.
