Re-arrange items in square online

Hi,

Using square online to build a food website. All good so far but struggling to re-arrange items so they display in the order I want. There is no option to do this using my PC and I have read there should be a Edit Site -> Order Online -> Item List -> Arrange & add items, this says "Arrange all items for sale"  but doesn't list any items.

I have tried to add a custom attribute which was also suggested "order priority"  text  and then 1 , 2 , 3  etc for the order I want but they are still stuck in the current positions.

 

There must be a way to arrange in a way that suits me?

I'm sorry to hear you're having troubles re-arranging items on your website - I'd be happy to help! 

 

I just did the test on my own website, and I was able to re-arrange my items. Could you send a screenshot of your screen? This will help me understand a bit better what could be the issue here.

On my website editor, I went to the Online Order page, clicked on the Item List on the page preview and then clicked on Arrange and Add Items. I'm then able to drag the 6 gray dots located on the left of each item and categorie to re-arrange them. This is what it looks like:

Can you confirm whether it looks similar on your end @yaykenny? If not, I recommend reaching out to our Support Team so this can promptly be escalated to our engineers.

Hi,

That page has the categories but no items to re-arrange (the items are added to the breakfast category). I can see the breakfast category but no items to move about.  I have added 19 items so far which are listed on the item page. I am accessing this on PC but just checked on phone app and the same thing.

As you can see, the items are not pulled through to the screen where I am supposed to be able to move them about. I have 20 or so in the breakfast category but they don't show up here
