Question about sales tax report

I am needing to see detail on where my sales tax is being collected as it has jumped much higher than it should be in the last few months. I went through item by item to make sure all the tax settings were correct but I still want to see a report on the transactions that make up the sales tax collected for last quarter.

Is there any way to do this? In tax reports it only gives a total of sales tax collected. Any way to see that by transaction?

Thank you!

Hello @Purrboise !

You can download a transactions CSV that will break down your taxes by item.

Dashboard -> Transactions -> Export.

Start with the Transactions CSV. It will give you an overall glimpse of every transaction in the time period. If you need to dig into it a little deeper you can do this with the Items Summary CSV. It has a Sales Tax line per item sold in the time period. If there is an item that's configured incorrectly it should be pretty obvious in the report.
